Life with Death - Finale!

Here is the final "Life with Death" strip for my college career and possibly forever.

I felt I had to show them graduating. Though I don't care much about the graduation ceremony, other people go crazy about it. Some people like Roger will dream about it and as usual it doesn't live up to their expectations. Thank god we don't walk across the stage because I will probably do this.

Watch out world!

I was asked to write a little goodbye piece for the paper. I'll post that soon as well as detailed pictures from my show among other things I'm behind on.

Life with Death #12

Last semester, the paper only put out 11 issues instead of 12 so this year they were doing 13 instead of 12. This gave me the opportunity to show Roger at his new career. Roger being blown away through the wall by a tiny house fan made him overall weak and pitiful. I love the idea and it came really quick. Plus this might be one of the first "Life with Death" strips without Death in it.

Life with Death #11

I mapped out in my head in the beginning of the year, the futures of Roger and Death. I cleared up Death's a while ago by having him employed at the DMV, which seemed fitting. Then I came up with the idea of having Roger become a model but only because he was so weak and pitiful looking. He would become a model for the "Before" picture of a fitness company. It was a funny idea to me because it worked with how weak he is and also tackled what I think advertising does in the real world. Making things seem different than they are in real life.

Life with Death - #10

I know I'm a bit behind on my "Life with Death" strips. It was very chaotic recovering from my show, finals/final critiques and I sculpted another bust which didn't take that long but also gave me problems at the end. Thats a story for another time.

Well, this is the fourth to last comic strip of the semester and in general. This cartoon I started mapping out Roger's future. A model really? Read on and you'll see it's not quite what it seems.
